A hidden, road-free bay — and the first swim of the day
Gremina Beach (also called Gremina Bay) is a hidden gem of the Albanian Riviera near Sarandë — a virgin cove of turquoise water and dramatic cliffs with no buildings, no road, and no crowds. Because it can only be reached from the sea, it has stayed exactly the way a hidden beach should be: quiet, clear and untouched. On the Easy Go route, Gremina is the first stop where you actually get in the water.
After two scenic photo stops, Gremina is where the day turns from looking to doing. Weather permitting, the boat anchors and you slip into some of the clearest water on this stretch of coast — ideal for a refreshing swim or a bit of snorkelling over the rocks. The bay's sheltered shape keeps the water calm and the visibility high.
What makes Gremina special is what isn't there. No hotels, no road, no rows of sunbeds — just white pebbles, clear water and cliffs draped in Mediterranean green. It's a pocket of the Riviera that has stayed wild precisely because you can't drive to it, and that seclusion is the whole appeal.
Gremina is isolated and has no road access, so a boat is the only practical way in. Tours leave from Sarandë and typically fold Gremina into a chain of nearby highlights. On the Easy Go route it comes after Turtle Cave and Anchor Bay, and just before the crystal water of Kakomë — a natural rhythm of cave, cove, swim, swim, beach across one day.
