Krorëza · the grand finale — up to three hours on the Riviera's finest sand and pebble
Krorëz Beach is the grand finale of the Easy Go route, and one of the most pristine, spectacular bays on the whole Albanian Riviera. Tucked along the wild coastline between Sarandë and Himarë, this long sweep of white pebbles is backed by towering cliffs and washed by water in every shade of turquoise. After a morning of caves and quick swims, this is where the boat lingers — up to three full hours to relax, swim and soak up the sun.
Krorëz is the longest stop of the day for a reason: it's the kind of place you don't want to rush. Stretch out on the white pebbles, swim in the clear shallows, snorkel along the rocks, or just sit back with the cliffs at your back and the open Ionian in front of you. In summer, part of the beach has umbrellas and sun-loungers, and a few small beach bars serve cold drinks, fresh seafood and traditional dishes.
What sets Krorëz apart is the scale and the setting — a wide arc of bright pebbles, steep green-and-grey cliffs rising on either side, and water so clear it looks lit from below. It's remote enough to feel like a discovery, yet big enough to relax into for an afternoon. The result is a hidden-paradise feel that's hard to find on more accessible parts of the coast.
Because of the rugged mountain terrain, Krorëz is reached mainly from the sea — most visitors arrive by boat or water taxi from Sarandë or the Kakomë area, a trip of roughly 30 to 60 minutes. (Hiking trails do exist from Lukovë and from Kakomë Bay, but they suit fit walkers only.) On the Easy Go route, Krorëz is the final stop — the long, relaxed reward at the end of the day before the cruise back to Sarandë. Tip: the beach is pebbles, so water shoes are well worth packing.
